Another day another figure!

Found this guy at the bottom of a box of figure, poor fella was half done so while I was waiting for the paints and washes on the Sherman Tanks to dry I decided to finish him off.

Flames of War: Open Fire Boxset.

I received the Flames of War starter set for Christmas which gave me a whole load of stuff to paint up.  Its been a while since I did World War Two stuff but having watched a few youtube videos I have been itching to paint up some tanks for a while.

After a few weeks I have finally finished the Sherman Tanks from the box.  These were a pain the arse to put together, luckily I had been forewarned about this by the FoW Facebook group.  There was also a mini disaster with varnishing them that led some to have white streaks on them but luckily another bout of weathering fixed them.

So here are the British tanks from the boxset all ready to take on the hun!  Next up the US airborne.

Pirate Lass

Finished my first figure from Dark Sword Miniatures this week, a lovely sculpt of a Pirate Lass.  Very fine detail on her, I struggled to pick it all out but overall I am happy with her.

Frair Stone Wandering Monk

Finished this guy today and a real joy to paint, full of character!  As usual he is a Reaper Sculpt.

He also seems to have found a rather bad tempered Badger to follow him about!

Kara Foehunter, Dwarf Hero

Another Reaper Miniature, this time a dwarf rogue.  I am pleased enough with how the base turned out as its the first time I have attempted a custom base like this, the paint job I struggled with and while its a decent finish I still think it could have been better.

The Rus are coming (yup there are more of them)

Another batch of Rus Warriors this time.  I have added a nice flag from Gripping Beast's Viking range to the group so people know who they are.  I have also bought a sheet of the shield decals from Little Big Man designs so I'll be hopefully adding them to my next batch of warriors.

Howling at the moon

Another Reaper sculpt and one I have had for a while, quite pleased with how he turned out and finally found a use for one of those gravestones I picked up a while back.
